The problem

AI coding tools can produce code quickly, but speed is not the same as control. Developers and technical teams still need privacy, review gates, test discipline, project context and confidence that generated changes have been understood before they are accepted.

The idea

LocalForge explores how AI coding support can run closer to the developer’s own machine, own projects and own standards. It is being shaped around local models, structured agent workflows, test-first prompts and stronger review discipline.
